McFly in BBC Switch Live Headlining with Fall Out Boy, Neyo, and Miley Cyrus + MORE!

BBC Switch Live Concert

Hundreds of fans packed out the Hammersmith Apollo in London on Sunday afternoon.
The show was exclusively for 14 to 17-year-olds and hosted by Radio 1 DJs Nick Grimshaw, Annie Mac and Kelly Osbourne.

UK pop-rockers McFly opened the show, which also featured RnB singer Ne-Yo and Swedish dance act Basshunter.

McFly's drummer, Harry Judd, told Newsbeat: "That was really really good, we've just been to Brazil and the crowds out there were amazing,
so it's good to see they're just as good back home. It's a real honour to be part of such a great line-up, that's why we were so determined to do this show and that's why we came back early (from Brazil).
"

Harry's bandmate Danny Jones certainly put all he had into the performance.
Just as McFly came off stage he said: "I've never sweated so much in my life, my face is throbbing!"

The Sun Article

McFLY launched their album Radio:Active in South America after getting inundated with requests from Brazilian women on MySpace.
The band jetted in from Brazil to play at the BBC Switch Live event in London and revealed the women were HOT, HOT, HOT.

Chatting backstage, cheeky Dougie said: "It was great. The women are as hot as the weather. They are so touchy feely and do the whole double kissing thing. My cheeks are worn out."
Danny added: "I never knew we had so many fans. It was unreal. Their reaction was amazing."

The boys kicked off the first ever BBC Switch Live event at Hammersmith Apollo on Sunday.
The event was exclusively for 14 to 17-year-olds and hosted by Radio 1 DJs NICK GRIMSHAW, ANNIE MAC and KELLY OSBOURNE.
Harry added: "The crowds in Brazil were amazing but today proved they are just as good here."
