★ HAPPY BDAY DANNY! + the MUCH AWAITED NEWS ★
Thursday, 12 March 2009 @ 04:34
Before anything else! Let us all great our dearest Danny Jones a... HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! ![]() I'm very pleased to see that we totally had grown in number! I had quite a difficult time in putting the names since the list was long! Apologies for the wrong usernames. Some were just way long, I had to cut it. McFly in Australia Two blog entries from our Tom while they are in Aussie.Thank you Sydney! Ahoy! too many eggs! PODCAST about the concert Recording a New Album Apparently, McFly, after spend a little time in Japan, didn't get back to England. They went out to Australia, where they'll record their new album! Harry said in an interview to a japanese radio: "We're going to Australia record a new album. So, it's like start a new circle again. All the process". As the guys said, the album will be release on November and, probably, we'll have a new single with a song from this album, on May. And as soon as their pictures in Australia come out, we'll post for you. Beyond this, the band posted a new bulleting at their MySpace, saying they added a new date for the concerts in Australia (March 15th, in Sidney) and the tickets are already being sell. And the tickets for the new tour on England, Up Close... And This Time It's Personal Tour will be selling by Saturday morning. Push Over Festival Looking out at the crowd for the next act, you would not be mistaken in thinking you were at a cross between a Fall Out Boy and Backstreet Boys concert. Pre-teens lined the first few metres of the mosh, some with t-shirts, some with posters, some chanting, all the same name. McFly. Security knew they had a hard job ahead of themselves, bringing out water to cope with the sun which had just emerged, and the flustered females who were beginning to get incredibly excited. Arriving on stage 10 minutes late (most likely to create more suspense, if that was possible) to a display of many, many different squeals from the crowd, McFly jumped (literally) straight into Radio, running all over the stage. Funnily enough, Mcfly provided the biggest mosh for the day. Perhaps it was the amount of fans, or the English charm telling all to ‘Bounce’, but something sent the few hundred teenagers crazy. Unfortunately the interaction with the crowd was not up to par with other bands, as there are only so many times you can say ‘thankyou’, or tell us how ‘beautiful our country is’. Surprisingly, they announced that their next album will be recorded here in Australia. Bassist Dougie Poynter provided the ‘comic relief’ for the show, appearing to emulate Tom Delonge on stage. At least it made the kids laugh. Putting all cynicism aside, the band finished with Five Colours in Her Hair, much to the delight of the crowd, which was a nice display of showmanship from the foursome. I miss McFly. :( And I know you guys do to. I'm sure their new album would be such an epic one like Radio:ACTIVE. Cross our fingers for it to be released worldwide!
